Potting Plants

We're really enjoying our 'plants' topic at the moment, especially finding out about the things that plants need to grow well. We've been thinking of ways to test some of our ideas about whether plants need water or light, and we're going to try a few of them in class.

Each of us potted a plant in soil this week. We'll need to keep an eye on them and decide whether they need water (and how much), and whether they're in a good spot to get enough light. We'll keep updating you here or on our Twitter page to let you know what happens to our plants.

Olympics Week

We enjoyed trying lots of new sports during our Olympics Week, as well as competing against one another in races and throwing events on sports day.

We already put lots of photos on our Twitter page (which you can find by searching for the hashtag #mvpsolympicsweek ) but here are a few more. Thanks to Mr Aspinall for organising such a fun week of activities!

We really enjoyed playing hockey. Can you remember what we had to do to control the ball more accurately?

Dodgeball was a lot of fun! We would've played all afternoon if we hadn't been stopped by the rain.
