International Day of Languages

Yesterday our whole school celebrated International Day of Languages. In Year One we celebrated by learning lots of new French words, trying some tasty French bread and cheese, and playing some French games. 

Altogether now.... 'BONJOUR!'

Duck in the Truck

We are learning about how to tell stories. We have been looking at The Duck in the Truck. We really enjoyed it!

We have been making graphs

This afternoon we made graphs.

Some of us used stickers in our books.

Some of us used mini iPads to make pictograms.

We wanted to share it on our blog.

Animal Labels

This morning we made some labels for the animals we have borrowed from the Schools Library Service. We copied down their names and learned how to use the camera on our devices to take a photo.
