Using Our Senses

This week, as part of our Science topic on animals, we've been learning about our senses. We thought about our bodies, and how they use our five senses to get information about the world around us and pass it on to our brains.

To help us investigate our senses Mr Ellis brought lots of things for us to try and smell, taste, feel, and look at. We worked in groups to complete each challenge, testing a different sense each time. I bet you can guess which one was our favourite!

Can you tell which flavour these crisps are just by looking at them?

We had to concentrate hard to try and guess what was in the bags by feeling each object.

Some of the things in the smelly boxes smelled a bit disgusting!

The first person to comment on this post and name all five senses can come and claim a special sticker from Year One!

  4. Thank you, mystery blogger. I think your clue in school made it a bit TOO easy to find you, Caitlin!
Keep letting us know what you think of our blog - my class really enjoy hearing about what others think of their work.
